Heritage of Chhayavaad, serving the tribal region
This sole Government College of Katghora Tehsil in Korba District is named after Pt. Mukutdhar Pandey — the pioneer of Chhayavaad in Hindi literature. Having no other higher education institution up to 130 km towards Surajpur and 150 km towards Pendra Road, this college is the only hope for a vast tribal area.
Affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Bilaspur — education available at Arts, Commerce, Science and Postgraduate levels.
